Kinésithérapie

Exercise, strength training, balance, coordination and motion improvement. Particularly useful in cases of hypotonia.

Speech-Language Pathology

Supports communication development and oral-motor functions, including speech, swallowing and breathing.

AAC – Augmentative & Alternative Communication

AAC helps non-verbal children communicate through images, symbols, boards, gestures or digital tools.

Prompt Therapy

Prompts are cues provided by the therapist to teach correct responses, gradually faded to build independence.

Communicative Gestures

Gestures are immediate and accessible communicative tools that help the child be understood more easily and reduce frustration in daily situations.

Communicator (VOCA / App)

The communicator is a device, often digital, that allows the child to select symbols or images and convert them to speech, supporting autonomous communication.

ABA – Applied Behavior Analysis

ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) is a behavioral educational approach that helps children learn new skills and reduce behaviors that may hinder daily life, communication and participation. The path is personalized based on the child's goals and uses structured strategies, positive reinforcement and progress monitoring.

Ergothérapie

Develops personal autonomy, fine motor skills, coordination and participation in daily, school and social life.

Psychomotricity

Supports motor strategies, body organization and relational development. Does not address the genetic or neurological cause.

Dysphagia & Oral Motor Therapy

Dysphagia intervention helps improve swallowing and feeding safety, and can also address drooling management. Oral motor therapy works on lip, tongue, jaw and breathing control.

Activités Sportives Inclusives

Sports and recreational activities such as theatre, dance and inclusive team sports support wellbeing, self-esteem and social participation.

Thérapie Feuerstein

Mediation-based method to stimulate cognitive functions and improve learning capacity for each ReNU child.

Aquaticité et Natation

The aquatic environment promotes freedom of movement, muscle tone, coordination and sensory integration. Swimming is loved by many ReNU children.

Music Therapy

Used for perceptual motor skills, communication and mood regulation. Music is often a privileged relational channel for ReNU children.
